Ammonite Hotel

Natural art hotel concept

Intent

A hotel built around a single natural idea: the fossil as a record of time. The concept translates that idea into spatial form — spiral movement, layered sediment surfaces, and light that behaves like it has travelled a long way to arrive.

The design brief moves from narrative to plan: an identity for the property, then the rooms, the arrival, the bar and the material logic that holds them together.

Furniture, lighting and objects

Alongside the interior architecture, the studio develops and sources furniture, lighting and objects — from the KOROOTS collection, or made specifically for a project with its craftsmen and manufacturers.
