Side table · Handmade, Indonesian suar wood
Chimborazo
The object
A low, generous side table cut from solid suar wood and left untreated, so the natural colour and grain of the timber stay visible.
A subtle raised edge keeps glasses and plates in place; the heavy base holds the table completely stable. Suited to a living room, bedroom or covered outdoor space.
The craft
Suar is a dense hardwood; every piece carries its own markings, so no two tables are identical.
The material
Suar wood
